Job Description

We are currently seeking reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join a busy hotel team in the Auckland Airport Precinct.

As a Housekeeper, you will play an important role in ensuring guest rooms and hotel areas are clean, comfortable and presented to a high standard. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working as part of a team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and service guest rooms to hotel standards

Make beds, change linen and replenish guest amenities

Clean bathrooms and ensure all areas are presented to a high standard

Vacuum, mop, dust and sanitise rooms and common areas

Report maintenance issues, damaged items or lost property

Follow hotel cleaning, health and safety procedures

Work efficiently to meet daily room targets

Maintain a clean and organised housekeeping trolley and work area

Work collaboratively with the wider hotel team to ensure a positive guest experience

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not essential

Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

Reliable, punctual and hardworking

Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet for extended periods

Able to bend, reach, lift and move items as required

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Good communication and teamwork skills

Professional and positive attitude

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Flexible availability for shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Must have own reliable transport

Must pass MOJ and Drug test
